This set of photographs is something that I hold incredibly close to my heart. not only is it a set of photos, pieces of my art but more then anything they're a candid look at something very very close to my heart. I thought I would take a little time to explain.

it starts in a little town called winter park where 5 months ago I met some of the most amazing people I've ever come across in my life at a school known as full sail university. We are all audio students the next engineers and producers of our industry. movers and shaker. 3 months later we had become an unstoppable force sitting in a classroom where we were told to fix everything that's fucked up in our place of work. " we must infect the industry like a virus" the day we were told those words by a man named Mark Pinsky everyone took notice. We sat up and took notice, the wheels in our heads started turning. we're working towards a revolution from the bottom up, fueled by everything that's wrong. There's to much money and a lack of content, composition and pride in the music industry. There's a little meter that measures the heart you're putting into what you create. we have to stop that meter before it hits zero. we need to make it about the love of music again.

not to long ago we all packed ourselves into cars and drove to Daytona Beach Florida where sony records was hosting Industry ready 2009. we were going to support our good friend Ashley Sailer a wonderful singer songwriter.

that day was the most inspired I've ever felt in my life. There was a flood of musicians there doing what they loved. There was so much passion and emotion flying around. Inspiration was in the air on all sides. It proved that our dream is still a reality. there's so much talent out there that hasn't been discovered yet! pure raw talent, people doing what they love with only the intentions of expressing how they feel through something they love!

Ashley won that night. She won Industry ready and we all lost what was left of our strained minds trying to wrap our heads around it.

I challenge you now to remember this! Remember these faces cause you will see them all soon.
I challenge you to go out in express yourselves though the most organic of ways. Go out there and show the world who you are, show them what you love, what you hate tell them everything you feel though any way possible. Make it about the art, make it about every stroke of paint put into detail by caring hands because you want your vision to be understood. Make it about every frame in the film reel and every note, every word of every song.
I challenge you to be the change you want to see
