So we drank some green hawiian punch and broke some bones and now i bealive in myself WHAT NOW!

((if you'd like to skip the mumbo jumbo and get to the point them please by all means skip to the last paragraph although I'd love it if you'd read the whole thing))

This year cinco de mayo came an went with no inncident or valid proof it happened at all. In my book this made the day a total waste so something had to be done about it. so we made up for it. Any day of the year is good for a fiesta! So lets just do it on the 6th! SEIS DE MAYO. This little theory of it being ok to celebrate a holiday the fallowing day resulted in sitting in English with chips, queso and a gallon jug of green hawiian fruit punch that looked like Radiator fluid and bendy straws.In my mind there is nothing more awsome then walking around with a gallon of green liquid. The double takes make it worth it to loose feeling in your arm.

In other news...I sounds like a newscaster... Anyways. Last wensday I was possibly the greatest night of my life. After years of admiration I finally got to see Thrice for the first time. If you haven't seen them before I would suggest you fallow the link and fix this problem immediatly [link]
aside from the fact that seeing circa survive and Thrice in one night can be compared to being a kid in a candy store what won me over and made this the best show that I have ever been to came down to two things. The pit and most importantly the connection you feel with the music. I felt like I was almost possesed at some point, like I was not conciously in control of my body. I hardly noticed when rather large man stepped on and crushed my foot.

There IS an alterior motive to the above story ( other then the fact that thrice is amazing and you should take the time to check them out ) You see the next day I was sitting at the Orthopedic office at mease hospital waiting to get xrays on my foot. I had nothing to do other then sit there and think. I started thinking why it didnt at all bother me that my foot was in constant throbbing pain and then I realized that I am the kind of person who puts the value of the expience over the cost of the result. this led me to many other self realization about life and the way I'm living mine. Through all this I have realized that I have no concept of time. I dont belive in Time for anything other then organizational purposes. When all is said and done I belive a person is nt represented by the amount of time they spent on this earth but by experiences. Anything from the day to day to the ones that you never forget. Life is about doing and the things you do will shape who you are.

This all being said I"m going to be starting on a new Project soon. A series of photo's based on self discovery. Honestly I encourage anyone who happens to read this to join me in this and show the world what it is that makes you you. Should you decided to then please by all means send me a note I'd like to see what you've done and I may do a feature on it if i get enough results on it as a whole.
